Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

1/4 - 1/2 cup olive oil and/or wine 2 med. onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced 1 green pepper, chopped
1-2 stalks celery, chopped 29 oz canned crushed tomatoes
6 oz can tomato paste 6 oz water
15 oz can chopped tomatoes 2 t salt
1 t pepper 1 T oregano
1 T Italian seasonings 1 T parsley, chopped
4-8 oz can mushrooms (optional) 3/4 cup SoSoya, ground (optional)
3/4 cup water (if use SoSoya)

Directions

Sauté onion, green pepper, celery and garlic in olive oil or wine. Add all other ingredients. Simmer for a while (30 minutes - 1 hour).

Notes

Use for spaghetti, lasagna, etc. Freezes very well.
