Tomato Soup

Ingredients

1/4 - 1/2 cup olive oil and/or water 1 onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, with leaves, chopped 1 carrot, chopped
29 oz can crushed tomatoes 29 oz water
1 t salt 1/2 t pepper
1 T Vegit 1 t basil
1/2 t oregano

Directions

Sauté onions, celery and carrots in a little water or olive oil until tender (about 5-10 minutes). Add all other ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer about 5 minutes.

It tastes particularly good when you're sick.

Vegit is a combination of spices and can be found in just about any health food store.
