Granola
Ingredients
3 1/2 c oats 1 c flax seed meal 1/2 c almonds 1 c soy nuts (unsalted) 1/2 t salt
1/2 c canola oil 1/3 c honey 1/3 c maple syrup 1 1/2 t vanilla
1 c raisins 1 c dates 1 c oats (uncooked) Directions
Combine oats, flax meal, nuts and salt (I mix in a 9x13 baking pan that I later use for cooking). In a separate container mix oil, honey and vanilla. Pour over dry mixture until well combined. Spread on 2 large ungreased baking pans (I use a 9x13 stainless pan and other slightly larger pan with sides). Bake for 2 hours at 200. Toss at one hour. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Add dried fruit and oats. Store at room temp.
